  • We follow all local government guidelines and CDC recommendations for COVID-19 precautions to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for our students. When necessary, we will require masks for extra safety for students and staff. Hand sanitizer will be available and used frequently by students and staff. Supplies and furniture will be cleaned and sprayed with sanitizer between classes as well.

  • Registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. If a class becomes full, you will be notified and offered the choice to select another class or your money will be refunded.

  • Schedules are subject to change pending registration numbers. A minimum number of 6 students will be needed for a class to "make." Classes will also be limited to 10 in order to provide a quality experience for each participant. For Robotics, students in grades Kindergarten-8th grade attend one class each week beginning the week of August 2022 and ending in May 2023. The other Enrichment Classes (LEGO, STEAM, ASL, Spanish, Young Authors, and American Liberty (history/geography) offered in the Fall will be 12 week semester classes and will begin the first week of September and end the first week of December 2022. Monday classes will not meet on Labor Day, but a makeup session will be scheduled.

  • The K-2nd grade robotics classes will use the VEX Go curriculum, and the other grades will use the VEX IQ curriculum.

  • Each Robotics class lasts 1 hour and fifteen minutes and meets once a week.

  • Each Fall Enrichment class lasts 1 hour and meets once a week.

  • Tuition for robotics classes is $150 per month for 2nd-8th grade students. Tuition for the enrichment classes is $125 per month for 3 months. Discounts are given for previous students and for families that register multiple children. Please email pinebeltroboticsacademy@gmail.com for a promo code.

  • Credit card payments will be automatically charged on the first of each month for the following month’s tuition. Please give at least one month notice prior to stopping payments/discontinuing participation.

  • Full tuition is due each month even though there are fewer class days in some months due to school holidays/breaks.

  • Registration is mandatory before a student is enrolled in a class. The annual registration fee for robotics classes is $75 per student. The annual registration fee for the other enrichment classes is $50 per student.

  • If robotics teams are formed and a student is invited to participate, additional fees will be required. Information about teams will be available after classes begin. Any student that would like to be considered for a robotics team should register and pay the $15 application fee.

  • Classes do not meet during long holiday breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break).

  • If a student misses a regularly scheduled class due to illness or school conflict, he or she may make up that session by attending another class later in the week during the same age group; this is not required.

  • We observe Lamar County/Oak Grove school holidays, "bad weather" days and other emergency days for the Hattiesburg area. We plan to have classes during the new breaks that are being scheduled by LCSD this year. If a student plans to miss classes during that time, he/she can make up the classes by attending two sessions the week before or after those breaks.

  • Parents will provide a cell phone number to be used for last minute or emergency communication. Parents will also share pertinent medical and learning needs with staff.
