About Us

Pine Belt Robotics Academy & Enrichment Center is an afterschool and summer enrichment program for students in grades K-10. The program focuses on thinking, collaborating and building robots through STEM robotics challenges, exploring drone principles, and numerous STEAM activities. The curriculum is designed to help children engage their minds.

The director of the Academy, Nadine Amaya, is local gifted education teacher. She is equipped with 28 years of teaching experience and is passionate about education. She was named 2018 Mississippi VEX IQ Elementary Teacher of the Year and 2017 VEX IQ World STEM Hall of Fame Teacher of the Year. She established the Pine Belt Robotics Academy & Enrichment Center in October of 2019 for the purpose of providing students with access to STEM based education and competition opportunities.
